The Position (full and part-time schedules available)

As a FirstSteps Behavior Technician, you will:

  • Teach children diagnosed with autism meaningful skills including communication, socialization, self-care, and school readiness.
  • Experience milestones like a child's first words, first friend, or first shoe tie.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, FirstSteps BCBAs, and behavioral health/mental health specialists.
  • Become a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), with all initial credentialing fees paid by FirstSteps, through our paid training program.

Our team members earn between $21 and $23 per hour on average, with eligibility for multiple wage increases throughout the year.
