GOALS for Autism, Inc. is hiring Behavior Techs to support kids with autism in home and community settings across the East Bay. You will work under a BCBA, help implement behavioral plans, collect data, and collaborate with families to reinforce progress.

We offer paid in-house training, travel time, flexible schedules, tuition reimbursement, healthcare benefits for full-time staff, and opportunities to gain BCBA hours in a supportive, growth‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Pass a background check and meet TB test requirements.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; college credit preferred.
• Experience with special needs care is a plus; patient demeanor required.

Responsabilités

• Travel to clients' homes and community settings to deliver services.
• Work 1:1 with children to implement behavior plans.
• Involve families and caregivers in sessions per the treatment plan.
• Collect detailed data and service notes for progress monitoring.
• Receive ongoing support and mentorship from GOALS supervisors.

Behavior Techs work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior plans at a client’s home or a community setting. Behavior Techs work help clients acquire a variety of new skills from communication, social skills, life skills, reducing problem behaviors and much more. GOALS is currently hiring across the East Bay, including Concord, Bay Point, Pittsburg, Antioch, Oakley, Discovery Bay, Oakland, and Hayward areas. Part and full time positions available.
GOALS provides comprehensive, paid training in the principles of ABA and provides opportunities for shadowing and mentorship. Day in the life of a GOALS Behavior Tech could include:

• Traveling to a client’s home and other community settings to deliver services
• Working 1:1 with children and adolescents to implement a behavioral plan
• Incorporating families and caregivers into therapy sessions per the treatment plan
• Collecting detailed and accurate data collection and service notes
• Receiving ongoing support and mentorship from GOALS supervisors

Requirements:

• Passion for helping special needs kids and patience is a MUST!
• Reliable, timely, organized and great attention to detail
• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to obtain negative TB test
• Reliable transportation, public or private
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• College credit, Associates, or Bachelors degree preferred
• Childcare and/or special needs experience preferred
