Job summary

GOALS for Autism, Inc. is hiring Behavior Technicians in Oakland, San Leandro, and Emeryville. Under BCBA supervision, you will implement behavior plans for kids with autism at clients’ homes or in community settings, delivering targeted support and data collection.

We provide comprehensive paid training, shadowing, mentorship, and growth opportunities toward BCBA hours. A high school diploma, reliability, and a passion for helping families are required; childcare or special needs experience is

Responsibilities

• Travel to clients' homes and community settings to deliver services

• Receive ongoing supervision and mentorship from GOALS staff
• Support preparation to maintain RBT credential

Behavior Technician - Oakland, San Leandro, Emeryville

Behavior Techs work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior plans at a client’s home or a community setting. Day in the life of a GOALS Behavior Tech could include:

• Traveling to a client’s home and other community settings to deliver services
• Working 1:1 with children and adolescents to implement a behavioral plan
• Incorporating families and caregivers into therapy sessions per the treatment plan
• Collecting detailed and accurate data collection and service notes
• Receiving ongoing support and mentorship from GOALS supervisors

• Passion for helping special needs kids and patience is a MUST!
