Job summary

Ability Builders in Kailua is seeking engaged individuals to become registered behavior technicians with training provided at no cost. Work 1:1 with autistic children in a clinic setting, implementing ABA plans under BCBA guidance and collecting data to refine approaches.

The role offers paid training, guaranteed hours when clients cancel, and opportunities for growth within a 19,000 sq ft collaborative clinic with natural environment spaces.

Your Day-to-Day

• Work 1:1 with autistic children in a clinic setting.
• Implement ABA treatment plans under the guidance of your BCBA.
• Collect data, update graphs, and adjust based on feedback.
• Use engaging, play-based methods in a structured setting.Collaborate daily with teammates, share insights, and refine your approach.

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay
• Training Pay: $20/hr (non-certified) | $25/hr (already RBT certified)
• Guaranteed Hours — sub or office work provided if clients cancel
• PTO & Holidays: 6 paid holidays + paid Winter Break + accrued time off starting when certified
• 401K: Company contributes 3% even if you don’t
