The Behavior Technician is responsible for:
  • Providing one-on-one direct care with learners ages 18 months to 21 years while teaching independent daily living skills for a higher quality of life in a primarily center based setting, with opportunities for home or community based sessions based on treatment plan
  • Collecting and recording data on the learners’ behavior for skill acquisition and distressed behavior reduction goals
  • Collaborating and communicating with team members including the learners’ families
  • Providing a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Following individualized behavior programming
  • Adhering to diet, supplementation, and medication protocols per prescription/parent instructions
  • Completing documentation and billing both timely and accurately

Hope Network offers our team a unique, hands‑on training experience designed to enhance a technician’s ability to offer high quality services from the start. New Behavior Technicians are set up with an individualized one‑on‑one training experience guided by a qualified trainer.

  • You have a valid state of Michigan driver’s license
