Lakeview Center Inc. is seeking a Behavior Health Technician to support counselors, nursing and therapy staff in residential and outpatient settings. You will help adults and children access resources, perform daily living tasks, and maintain safety and well-being under the treatment plan.
Responsibilities include establishing rapport, documenting progress, and implementing targeted interventions. CPR and CPI training are required, and a valid driver’s license is needed for program mobility.

Short Term Residential (SRT) is a 20-bed inpatient facility for Adults with Serious Mental Illness. Treatment is provided by a multidisciplinary team of professionals in conjunction with the wishes and needs of the people served.
The Behavior Health Technician position assists the counselors/therapeutic/nursing staff by providing clinical support to adults and children who are receiving substance abuse, mental health services or co-occurring disorders in residential programs, inpatient settings, day/evening programs, outpatient programs and/or community-based programs. This position is responsible for but is not limited to: Establishing a positive helping relationship with people receiving services. Assisting those receiving services to complete activities of daily living, including accessing needed resources, and building functional, pro-social relationships with others. Ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of those receiving services. Implementing specific interventions according to the person's treatment or service plan. Monitoring and documenting the person's progress.
This position is for the Day Shift (7 AM - 3 PM).
Base pay ranges from $15.00 - $16.12 an hour based on experience. Plus, shift differential pays $2.00 - $4.00 an hour if applicable.
