Job summary

Lakeview Center Inc. in Pensacola, FL, is seeking a dedicated behavioral health practitioner for The Meridian inpatient program.

You will establish supportive relationships, help clients with daily living activities, and implement treatment interventions in a structured residential setting. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, CPR/CPI training, 20 hours of CCA training, and successful background screenings.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
One year of experience in behavioral health preferred.
Must obtain CPR certification.
Must pass CPI training.
Must complete 20 hours of CCA training.
Must pass Human Trafficking training within 60 days of hire.
Must provide integrated mental health, substance abuse and co-occurring services as required.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work other behavioral health programs as needed.
Must pass state/federal background screenings.

Responsibilities

Establish a positive helping relationship with persons receiving services.
Assist persons to complete activities of daily living and access resources, building pro-social relationships.
Ensure health, safety, and well-being of persons served.
Implement interventions according to treatment/service plan.
Monitor and document progress of the person.
