Job summary
EMPOWER LEARNING INC in Eagan, Minnesota, is seeking a caring and motivated Behavior Technician to join our ABA team. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children and has experience in childcare. Responsibilities include implementing individualized ABA treatment plans and ensuring a supportive environment. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, enrolled in or completed college, and pass a background check. Supportive environment with opportunities for growth and RBT certification is a plus.
Qualifications
Must enjoy working with kids — daycare, school, or childcare experience preferred.
Positive, patient, and coachable — able to take direction and apply feedback.
Comfortable managing behaviors and staying calm in challenging moments.
Willing to learn ABA principles through training and supervision.
Reliable and consistent — requires working 5 days a week.
RBT certification is a plus.
Responsibilities
Work 1:1 with children implementing individualized ABA treatment plans.
Run programs and goals every 7 minutes as outlined by supervisors.
Collect accurate data during each session.
Support with cleaning and sanitizing therapy spaces and materials.
Follow supervisor direction and maintain professional communication.
Keep sessions positive, structured, and engaging for each client.
Assist with other tasks that support high-quality client care.
