Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• 3-6 months or more experience working with individuals with autism or disabilities
• Availability during operational hours of 9:00 am - 7:30 pm, Monday - Friday, including some evenings

Preferred:

• Associate or bachelor's degree
• Current Registered Behavior Technician certification or ability to complete 40 hours of competency-based training within 1-2 weeks of employment

Join Merakey, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping people for over 50 years. We are seeking a Behavior Technician - Full-time to join our team in Grand Rapids, MI. If you are a Paraprofessional, RBT, Behavior Health Technician, or Personal Care Aide, this is a great opportunity for you!

Earn between $16 and $18.47 per hour. Work hours are Monday - Friday, with shifts from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm and/or 11:30 am to 7:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Implement and review individualized treatment plans and IEPs
• Collect and document data accurately and timely
• Provide behavioral and physical interventions as needed
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, including toileting and grooming
• Perform other duties as assigned
