Qualifications

We are seeking a Behavior Technician to join our team at our program in Hampden Township, located in the Cumberland Valley School District, PA.

If you are a Paraprofessional, Registered Behavior Technician, Behavior Health Technician, or a Personal Care Aide, this is the opportunity for you!

No experience required - we provide PAID training.

Earn $20.00 an hour Monday-Friday (up to 30 hours a week).

Position Details and Duties

As a Behavior Technician, you will work one-on-one in our school setting, supporting a wide variety of autistic/emotional support students who are all unique and amazing! Following each child's Individual Education Plan (IEP) and Positive Behavior Support Plan (PBSP), you will help the student achieve their academic and behavioral goals. Your dedication and empathy will foster a trauma-informed environment conducive to learning. In this role, you will be part of a team where you can have fun and significantly contribute to our students' development.

  • Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation.
  • Provide behavioral interventions and physical interventions as needed. Physical interventions may include prompting, guided transport, and physical restraint, depending on program regulations and training provided.
  • Monitor client performance and record relevant data to assess progress.
  • Assist clients/students with activities and daily living tasks, including toileting and grooming.
  • Other duties as assigned.
