Job summary

Connect Therapies in Los Angeles is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in school and community settings, implementing behavior plans and collecting session data under BCBA supervision.

You will collaborate with program managers and team members, receive hands-on mentorship, and have growth opportunities toward RBT or BCBA certification, with flexible scheduling and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Experience working with children strongly preferred.
• Strong communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in school and community settings.
• Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs.
• Collect accurate session data.

What You’ll Do

• Provide 1:1 ABA therapy in school and community settings
• Implement behavior intervention and skill acquisition programs
• Collect accurate session data
• Complete session notes
• Communicate regularly with supervisors
• Work closely with BCBAs, program managers, and fellow team members in a collaborative model designed to support meaningful client progress and provide hands-on mentorship for Behavior Technicians.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required
• Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
• Experience working with children strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills

RBT Training Requirement

Applicants without prior BT experience must complete the required 40-hour RBT training prior to their start date. This is an industry-wide certification requirement and is not compensated.

Completion of the course is not required to apply or interview.

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting at $20.00 per hour (up to $24.00 DOE)
• Paid drive time & mileage reimbursement
• Ongoing supervision and mentorship

• Flexible scheduling and unpaid time off available with advance notice

Schedule Options

All schedules currently needed. Daytime, evening, & weekend.
