Job Summary
The Behavior Support Technician-EDU is responsible for assisting the Behavior Support Consultants in the following duties: classroom observation; data collection; training staff to implement individual behavior protocols and behavior intervention plans; and treatment integrity monitoring. Each individual also may be assigned to one or more special projects including administrative and organization tasks associated with these assignments.
Essential Job Duties
- Provide behavioral consultation to teams under the guidance of the Behavior Support Consultants.
- Provide crisis intervention for individuals.
- Collect, organize and maintain data.
- Assist with training of staff in best-practice methods.
- Assist with the completion of reports.
- Conduct all duties, responsibilities, and daily activities in accordance with current best practice and ethical guidelines requirements.

Education
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma
Preferred: Associate’s Degree or Higher in Human Services, Special Education or School Psychology
Experience
Minimum Experience Required: 1-2 years in the development/implementation of behavior support plans with individuals who have developmental disabilities and/or mental health concerns using Applied Behavior Analysis methodology. Must demonstrate basic knowledge and competencies in Applied Behavioral Analysis.
