Job summary

GOALS for Autism, Inc. in Discovery Bay is seeking passionate Behavior Techs to implement ABA plans under BCBA supervision. You'll work directly with children to enhance their skills and provide support.

This position offers part-time and full-time opportunities with benefits including competitive pay, training, and flexible scheduling. Ideal candidates will have a passion for helping special-needs kids and must pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a background check.
• Ability to obtain a negative TB test.
• Reliable transportation, public or private.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to a client’s home and other community settings to deliver services.
• Working 1:1 with children to implement a behavioral plan.
• Collecting detailed and accurate data and service notes.

Behavior Techs work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement behavior plans at a client’s home or a community setting. Behavior Techs help clients acquire a variety of new skills including communication, social skills, life skills, and reducing problem behaviors. Day in the life of a GOALS Behavior Tech could include:

• Traveling to a client’s home and other community settings to deliver services
• Working 1:1 with children and adolescents to implement a behavioral plan
• Incorporating families and caregivers into therapy sessions per the treatment plan
• Collecting detailed and accurate data and service notes
• Receiving ongoing support and mentorship from GOALS supervisors
