Job summary

Washington State Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) is seeking a Behavior Technician for the Developmental Disabilities Administration in the SOCR program. You will deliver behavioral support, collect data, and implement Positive Behavior Support Plans under clinical oversight, partnering with Psychology Associates and other professionals to improve community-based care.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of positive behavior support and applied behavior analysis.
• Understanding of development and community-based long-term care programs.
• Ability to develop and evaluate Positive Behavior Support Plans with data-driven decisions.
• Strong communication and training skills for multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Provide behavioral support services in SOCR settings.
• Collect and analyze behavioral data and conduct functional assessments.
• Implement Positive Behavior Support Plans under clinical oversight.
• Train staff and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Represent DDA in meetings and provide trainings on behavioral supports.
