Butterfly Effects is seeking dedicated Behavior Technicians for a part-time role in Citrus Heights, CA. You will support children with autism through ABA-based plans under a BCBA, recording progress and managing behaviors in a family-centered setting.

We offer 12–20 hours weekly, with compensation between $24 and $28 per hour. Opportunities for education and growth toward BCBA certification are provided with guidance and financial assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

What Do You Bring to the Role?

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

• Experience: Prior experience with children is advantageous.

What Will You Be Doing

• Implements individualized treatment plans under the direction of a Board-Certified Behavioral Analyst (BCBA).
• Observes, records, and reports on client\'s progress, as well as the condition and behavior of the client daily.
• Manages challenging behaviors.
• Apply behavioral principles consistently in all interactions with clients.
• Assists clients, as needed, to acquire academic and/or appropriate life skills.
• Communicates in a professional and respectful manner with parents, behavior analysts/consultants, trainers, and clients.
• Functions as an active member of the treatment team.
• Completes daily paperwork and data collection notes in a detailed, accurate, consistent, and timely manner through our online database.
• Actively participates in continuous training programs designed to increase overall skills.
• Maintains confidentiality of client information.
• Follows BE policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements
This role involves working in natural environments, occasionally requiring lifting or moving up to 50 lbs. and maintaining various postures for extended periods.
