Job summary

Florida Autism Center, part of the BlueSprig family, is hiring Behavior Technician (BT) or Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). We provide comprehensive paid training, mentorship, and a clear career path with on-site support for professional growth.

Full-time role in Florida with competitive pay, benefits, and ongoing development. Start date is immediate pending onboarding and background check, with schedule Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–6:00 PM and optional Saturdays based on client needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 18 years old.
• Reliable transportation and punctuality essential.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must obtain Florida Driver License before end of training.
• Fingerprinting for Florida Medicaid is required.
• No direct ABA experience required; comprehensive paid training is provided.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy in center-based and home-based settings.
• Teach communication, social, behavioral, and self-help skills to children with autism.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with clients.
• Collect and record data to track client progress.
• Provide written and verbal updates regarding treatment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members.
• Attend trainings and meetings for ongoing professional development.
• Follow all company policies and confidentiality requirements.

Pay, Benefits & Perks

• Competitive pay:

• $20.00–$22.00/hour for billable RBT hours based on experience

• Once you have completed Behavior Technician (BT) training, but prior to completing RBT Certification, you will receive 15.00for each billable client hour worked

• 14.00/hour paid for all non-billable training and administrative time

• Candidates with an active RBT certification at the time of hire will receive a$200-bonus on their first paycheck

• Fully paid training — no experiencerequired
