Job summary

Florida Autism Center, part of the BlueSprig family, is hiring Behavior Technicians to deliver ABA therapy to children with autism. We provide comprehensive paid training, mentorship, and opportunities for professional growth from day one.

Join a supportive, collaborative team with daily guidance from an on-site BCBA. This is a full-time role with scheduling Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and potential Saturdays based on client needs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality; Florida Driver License may be required by end of training.

Responsibilities

• Provide ABA therapy in center-based and home-based settings.
• Teach communication, social, behavioral, and self-help skills to children with autism.
• Work one-on-one or in small groups with clients.
• Collect and record data to track client progress.
• Provide updates regarding treatment goals and progress.
• Collaborate with families, supervisors, and team members.

Job description

• $20.00-$23.00/hour for billable RBT hours based on experience
• Once you have completed Behavior Technician (BT) training, but prior to completing RBT Certification, you will receive 15.00 for each billable client hour worked
• 14.00/hour paid for all non-billable training and administrative time
• Candidates with an active RBT certification at the time of hire will receive a $200-bonus on their first paycheck
• Fully paid training — no experience required

What You’ll Do

• Follow all company policies, confidentiality requirements, and mandated reporting standards

What We’re Looking For

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfortable sitting, standing, crouching, and getting on/off the floor frequently
• Passion for helping children and families
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Must obtain Florida Driver License before end of training
• Fingerprinting for Florida Medicaid is required
