We are searching for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) who is able to provide 1:1 services. The position offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and supervision from experienced BCBA's.
GENERAL ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide 1:1 ABA services to clients in home, community, or clinic settings.
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and their families.
- Implement treatment plans as outlined by the BCBA.
- Seek appropriate consultation on treatment plans, as needed.
- Record data for all goals during ABA sessions.
- Communicate effectively, both in written and verbal formats, with parents about the client’s progress.
- Utilize de-escalation techniques for behaviors not included in the client’s treatment plan.
- Participate in meetings with the BCBA, parents, and other team members, as needed.
- Assist the BCBA with assessment and reassessment procedures.
- Maintain a safe and organized therapy environment.
- Maintain client confidentiality.
- Attend trainings required to maintain and acquire technical knowledge.
- Respond to feedback given by the BCBA during supervision meetings.
- Adhere to the ethical standards outlined by the BACB.
- Assist with the preparation of client materials.
- Work at the in-clinic location: 875 Military Trail, Jupiter, FL 33458.

SPECIFIC DUTIES
- Participate in trainings, which may be in person or via video conferencing.
- Provide direct behavior analytic services in the child’s school and home.
- Ensure video conferencing is available for supervision observations.
- Supervision will occur weekly.
- Take part in weekly team meetings with the family and BCBA.
SKILLS
- Ability to accept and respond to constructive feedback.
- Effective time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and implement clinical protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification (not required to get hired).
- Minimum 1-year experience working with children.
- Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- CPR certification.
- Completion of a Level 2 background clearance.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Must be able to lift and carry clients up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assume and maintain various postures (e.g., kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods.
