ABA Centers of Florida is seeking a Behavior Technician (BT) in Gainesville or St. Augustine, FL. This full-time role starts at $19.35 per hour, with final pay based on experience and credentials.

We provide paid training through our ABA Academy and opportunities to advance toward RBT and BCBA roles. You will support individuals with autism across home, community, or our centers, collect data, and implement therapy sessions designed by a BCBA.

Formación

• High-school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years old (21+ for New Jersey location).
• Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and car insurance for in-home services.
• Clean background/drug screenings and driving record.
• BT: attend 40-hour RBT paid training and pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire.
• RBT: participate in required paid training program.

Responsabilidades

• Support individuals with autism in home, community, or centers.
• Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments.
• Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions.
• Collaborate with clinical team meetings and ongoing training.
• Implement sessions designed by a BCBA.
• Communicate with RBTs, BCBAs, families, and directors to support client needs.
• Perform other clerical and administrative duties to support operations.

What You'll Do

• Support individuals with autism in the home, in the community, or in one of our new centers
• Teach daily living skills and social skills using effective behavior and evidence-based treatments
• Collect, organize, and summarize unbiased data during sessions
• Collaborate and participate in clinical team meetings and ongoing training
• Implement training and therapy sessions designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
• Proactively communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, Executive Directors, and additional team members to support the client's needs
• Performs other clerical and administrative duties as assigned to support operations

Requirements

Education/Experience and Other Requirements

• High-school diploma or equivalent
• Must be at least 18 years of age (21 years or older if located in New Jersey)
• Availability during after-school hours, weekends, and holidays
• Consistent, reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and car insurance to provide in-home services for clients
• Must maintain clean background/drug screenings and driving record
• BT: Ability to attend our 40-hour RBT fulltime paid training course and be eligible to pass the RBT exam within 45 days of hire
• RBT: Ability to attend required paid training program
