ABA Centers of Florida in Tamarac, FL is hiring a Behavior Technician (BT) for full-time work. Starting pay is 19.35 USD per hour, with final compensation determined by experience, training, and education.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of experience with children or youths in education or ABA therapy.
• Availability afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Reliable transportation with valid license and insurance.
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review.

Responsibilities

• Direct client support and delivery of ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities or clinics.
• Teach communication, social and daily living skills.
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Track progress and maintain data quality; document sessions accurately.
• Collaborate with BCBAs, families and team members; participate in meetings and training.
• Provide administrative and clinical support as needed.

What You’ll Do

• Direct Client Support
• Deliver ABA therapy in homes, schools, communities, or clinics
• Teach communication, social, and daily living skills
• Implement individualized treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Track Progress & Maintain Quality
• Collect, organize, and document session data accurately

Collaborate & Communicate

• Work closely with BCBAs, team members, and families
• Participating in team meetings and ongoing training

Support Operations

• Assist with administrative and clinical support tasks as needed

What We’re Looking For

Required

• Preferred one-year experience working with children and/or youths in education or ABA therapy
• Availability during afternoons, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Reliable transportation with valid driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to pass background checks, drug screening, and driving record review

Position-Specific

• Registered Behavior Technician (RBT): Active certification in good standing; 1 week of paid training followed by precepting (hands-on supervision) (up to 2 weeks total)
• Training availability: Must be available Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Preferred

• Experience in childcare, education, or related fields
• Experience working with children or adolescents
• Prior exposure to ABA services
