Job summary

New Story Schools is seeking a Behavior Technician to provide one-on-one and small-group support to students ages 5–21 in home and community settings. You’ll implement plans that build academic, social, and life skills within a collaborative, mission-driven team.

You’ll deliver individualized instruction aligned with each student’s IEP goals, collect progress data, and partner with families, teachers, and clinicians to ensure consistent support across environments and meaningful student growth.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or 48 credits from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of three months of professional or internship experience in behavioral or learning differences.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance coverage.
• Strong communication and collaboration with students, families, and educators.
• Patience, adaptability, and professionalism in dynamic learning environments.

What You’ll Need

• Associate’s degree or a minimum of 48 semester credit hours from an accredited institution
• At least three months of professional or internship experience supporting individuals with behavioral or learning differences
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and active auto insurance coverage
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, families, and educators
• Ability to remain patient, adaptable, and professional in dynamic learning environments
