Job summary

Finni Health in Las Cruces, NM is seeking an ABA Behavior Technician to work in-home with clients and families, under supervision of a BCBA. This part-time role focuses on hands-on instruction, data collection, and implementing ABA strategies to help children learn new skills.

The position offers $19.00 per hour, a 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM schedule, mileage reimbursement, paid training, and pathways for RBT certification.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children and a passion for helping children with special needs.
• Reliable transportation to client homes.
• CPR certification preferred.
• RBT certification preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with tablets and data collection software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting.
• Collect and record data on child behaviors.
• Be available weekly for supervision by the BCBA.
• Attend team meetings.

As an ABA Behavior Technician (BT), you will work with our Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement life-changing ABA care in-home. You’ll work one-on-one with our patients' families, helping children learn new skills and reach new milestones.

• Provide in-person behavior intervention services in a child’s home setting

• Collect and record data on child behaviors

• Be available weekly for supervision by the Behavior Analyst

What You'll Need

• Minimum high-school degree or equivalent - ideally looking for candidates interested in pursuing careers within the field

• Experience working with children, and a passion for working with children with special needs

• Reliable Transportation

• Active CPR certification (Preferred)

• RBT certification: (Preferred but not required)

• This role involves using technology every day, including tablets for real-time data collection, scheduling software, communication platforms, and electronic documentation.

• Experience using technology and software or platforms such as CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink, or similar data collection systems is a plus!

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

• Able to assume and maintain a variety of postures (kneeling, squatting, crawling, sitting, standing) for extended periods of time

• Sit on the floor or stand for extended periods of time

License/Certification:

• CPR Certification (Required)
