Job description

A competent Nurse with at least 1 year of related experience in a clinical setting practices independently, providing routine and complex care while managing long-term goals.

1. Demonstrates awareness of all relevant aspects of patient situations and effectively delegates tasks to care team members.
2. Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation—and addresses patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs.
3. Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors outcomes, and documents patient information accurately.
4. Assesses learning needs and provides education to patients, families, and caregivers.
5. Meets competency standards, completes required certifications within designated timeframes, including BLS and ACLS, and attends orientation.
6. Preferred experience includes perioperative or OR nursing, with current licenses and certifications.
