Job summary

One Step Forward in Newark, NJ is hiring a bilingual ABA Therapist to work one-on-one with a child in the home. You will implement an individualized ABA program under BCBA supervision and support a Spanish-speaking family.

The role is schedule-based, with weekday after-school and early-evening hours, consistent weekly caseload, and pay of $22-$32 per hour paid biweekly. Spanish and English fluency are required.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• ABA experience preferred.
• Experience with children with autism or developmental disabilities.

About the role

You'll work with the same child on a consistent weekly schedule, following an individualized ABA program under ongoing BCBA supervision, and supporting a Spanish speaking family.

What you'll do

• Use reinforcement and prompting strategies
• Collect accurate session data and complete electronic session notes
• Communicate with caregivers in Spanish and English, and regularly with your supervising BCBA

What you'll bring

• Strong communication and documentation skills
• Reliable transportation for in home sessions
