Job summary

ABA SHINE is seeking Behavior Technicians for their Behavior Respite Program in Lafayette, California. This role offers part-time or full-time in-person work with a competitive salary of $27 to $31 per hour, plus mileage reimbursement. You'll engage clients in meaningful activities, support families, and receive training from qualified professionals. A high school diploma and reliable transportation are required, with an emphasis on a positive and engaging demeanor. Flexible schedules available, including afternoons and weekends.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience preferred, but not required.
• Reliable transportation required.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Engage clients in activities to promote positive interactions.
• Apply proactive behavior strategies to prevent challenging behaviors.
• Provide caregiver relief and support.
• Receive hands-on training from BCBAs and supervisors.
• Advance in the ABA field through training opportunities.
