Job summary

Marlborough Public Schools is seeking a Behavior Technician to join Whitcomb Middle School in Marlborough, MA for the 2026-2027 school year. The position offers a 214-day calendar with an immediate start and a pay rate of $30 per hour.

The role involves implementing structured behavioral programs, collecting data, and helping students develop academic, communication, and daily living skills. Collaboration with the special education team is essential, along with after-hours meetings and trainings

Qualifications

Minimum of two years of ABA experience in a public school or private special education setting or clinical environment.
Bilingual (Spanish, Portuguese, and/or Creole) is a plus.

Responsibilities

Provide a highly structured approach using behavioral principles.
Run programs with predetermined skills across academic, communication, social, and daily living areas.
Collect data and record progress; graph progress daily.
Assist students in generalizing learned skills within general education settings.
Implement play plans and facilitate social interactions in unstructured times.
Maintain crisis prevention certification and use restraints as needed.
Consult with educators and attend required meetings/trainings after school.
