Job summary

Ability-Builders-Consulting-Co. seeks a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to deliver 1:1 ABA services in home, clinic or community settings in Florida under BCBA supervision. Responsibilities include data collection, progress reporting and collaboration with families.

Requirements include the 40-hour RBT course, Florida driver’s license, CPR and Level 2 background clearance. Competitive pay and benefits are offered in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• RBT certification completed (40-hour course)
• Minimum 1 year experience with children
• Valid Florida driver’s license
• CPR certification
• Level 2 background clearance completed

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 ABA services in home, clinic, or community settings
• Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and families
• Implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision
• Record data for all goals during sessions
• Communicate progress with parents (written and verbal)
• Utilize de-escalation techniques for challenging behaviors
• Attend meetings with BCBA, parents and team members
• Assist BCBA with assessment/reassessment procedures
• Maintain client confidentiality and a safe therapy environment
• Respond to feedback during supervision meetings
• Adhere to BACB ethical standards
