Job summary

I Am Boundless, Inc. in Worthington, OH is hiring a Behavior Technician to support individuals with autism and related disabilities using Applied Behavior Analysis in 1:1, 1:2 or small group settings.

You will receive supervision and training from behavior health supervisors and perform duties as a full-time, hourly employee. Minimum qualifications include 18 years of age, a high school diploma, and English communication skills; licensure/certification such as First Aid/CPR and a valid Ohio

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll play a meaningful role in implementing behavioral health and educational services using the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis with individuals diagnosed with autism, related mental health disorders and/or intellectual disabilities in either a 1:1, 1:2 or small group setting. Receive supervision and training from behavior analytic and/or behavioral health supervisors through direct observation and team meetings. This is a full-time, hourly position. the individual. Crisis intervention is likely for issues including self-injury, aggression, and high magnitude disruptive behavior.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must be able to communicate in English, including both spoken and in writing.

Licensure/Certification:

• First Aid, CPR - adult, child and infant; delegated nursing
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License with Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles; proof of auto insurance.
• No more than 5 points on license.

Preferred Experience:

• Three-year experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual/developmental disabilities, and/or behavioral health conditions.
• Experience implementing applied behavior analysis.
• College Degree in related field.

Special Skills and Requirements:

• Must be detail oriented and have competent literacy and writing, documentation, communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Must be able to use tools and equipment as required – including pushing/pulling wheelchairs, lifting consumers with hoyer lifts.
