Job summary

May Institute is seeking a Behavior Technician to join our West Springfield Center, MA. You’ll provide one-on-one, evidence-based ABA therapy to help children develop communication, social, play, and daily living skills.

You’ll collect data, track progress, and collaborate with supervisors (BCBAs) to ensure effective treatment. Daytime and early evening hours are available; full-time or part-time roles with competitive pay of $22/hour (26 with RBT) and benefits.

Qualifications

• Valid U.S. driver’s license with at least 1 year of driving experience and reliable transportation.
• Experience working with children with autism or developmental disabilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to learn and apply evidence-based ABA practices.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one, evidence-based ABA therapy to children.
• Implement individualized behavior support plans and assist in reducing challenging behaviors.
• Collect data, track progress, and collaborate with supervisors (BCBAs).
• Work with a team of BCBAs, therapists, and support staff to deliver consistent interventions.
