Job summary

Autism Learners provides ABA therapy services to individuals with autism and related disorders. The role involves implementing treatment plans, data collection, and collaboration with BCBA supervision in Northern Virginia and surrounding areas.

The position expects afternoon/evening availability, 2 days per week minimum, and a commitment to quality care. A 40-hour RBT training, relevant degree, and CPR/First Aid are required or preferred as noted.

Qualifications

• Completed 40-hour RBT training course is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in applied behavior analysis, special education, psychology, or related field is preferred.
• Certified as a Registered Behavior Technician (preferred).
• 1 year of experience in education/behavioral health/ABA (preferred).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification is required.
• Must have reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Available to work afternoons/evenings at least 2 days a week.
• Background check must be clear.

Responsibilities

• Meet deadlines for tasks and reports.
• Attend all monthly team meetings.
• Meet with the BCBA on your case at least twice per month.

Autism Learners has a job opening at a competitive rate of pay for a behavior technician to provide applied behavior analysis (ABA) treatment to children with autism and related disorders. We are looking for talented, compassionate, hard-working, and dedicated individuals to provide behavior-analytic support to our clients.

Hours

Job Duties

Requirements

• 1 year of experience working in the field of education, behavioral health, mental health, or applied behavior analysis (preferred).
• Current CPR/First Aid certification.
• Have access to modern technology devices such as a laptop, iPad, tablet, smartphone, etc. that can be used to perform day-to-day work tasks, on-site and off-site.
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and vehicle insurance.
• Must be available to work afternoon and evening hours at least 2 days a week.
