Job summary

Burnett Therapeutic Services, Inc. is seeking a Behavior Technician for part-time work in Elk Grove or Sacramento. You will provide 1:1 support to children with autism or developmental delays, delivering structured, play-based activities in home, clinic, or school settings, typically 2–3 hour sessions.

Ideal candidates are entry-level to experienced RBTs. The role offers in-home and in-clinic opportunities, with compensation ranging from $20 to $24 per hour, based on experience and training;

Qualifications

• Must be based in Elk Grove or Sacramento.
• Part-time schedule with 12-8pm Monday–Friday.
• Entry-level candidates welcome; RBT certification encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 behavior support to children with autism or developmental delays.
• Implement behavior intervention plans designed by BCBA(s).
• Collect and record data on client progress accurately.
• Communicate regularly with families to provide updates and support.
• Participate in ongoing training, team meetings, and supervision sessions.

What You'll Do

As a Behavior Technician at BTS, you'll work 1:1 with children with autism or developmental delays to build communication, social, play, and daily living skills through structured, play-based activities. Sessions take place in the child's home, clinic, or school, lasting 2-3 hours. We tailor your caseload to fit your availability and match you with age groups you're comfortable with, from toddlers to teens.

Your Responsibilities Include

• Delivering one-on-one behavior support through fun, individualized activities
• Implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
• Collecting and recording data on client progress accurately
• Communicating regularly with families to provide updates and support
