Job summary

Soar Autism Center is hiring a Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide one-on-one ABA therapy for children aged 2-6 in our Colorado facility. You will implement clinician-designed plans and track progress under supervision, ensuring fidelity to ESDM/ABA principles.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, participate in ongoing training, and pursue RBT certification as needed. A guaranteed minimum schedule supports consistent client care and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; BACB attestation for RBT preferred.
• Active or soon-to-be RBT certification within 6 weeks; paid training provided.
• Reliable transportation to training location and local center; punctuality essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to high professional standards.
• Implement intervention plans crafted by Masters-level clinicians within ABA principles.
• Foster strong relationships with families and regularly update them on progress within the ABA framework.

Job description

At Soar Autism Center, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of children on the autism spectrum. As we strive to innovate and build a better model of care for kids, the role of the Behavior Technician or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) becomes paramount. Through our specialized approach, we empower these children, guiding them towards their full potential. Our methods draw from the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based form of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. Key Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's high standards
• Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert Masters-level clinicians, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles
• Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework
• Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification

Qualifications

• High school diploma, or equivalent, is required (as verified by resume, application, or BACB attestation for RBT certification)
• Strong preference for either enrollment in or completion of a degree program. Bonus for degrees in Child Development, Psychology, or related fields
• Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment (Soar will provide paid training)
• RBT certification required for CO Springs location
• Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children
• Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality is essential
• Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client
• Computer and tablet literacy
• Ability to work on a team

• $21.50 - $28.50/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. The initial offer hourly pay will be between $21.50 - $22.75. All staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion
