Soar Autism Center is hiring a Behavior Technician to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy for children aged 2-6, under the supervision of Masters-level clinicians. You will implement plans, track progress, and communicate with families daily.

The role includes paid training to obtain RBT certification within six weeks and a guaranteed minimum schedule for full-time staff, with opportunities for bonuses and career growth.

Responsibilities

As we strive to innovate and build a better model of care for kids, the role of the Behavior Technician or RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) becomes paramount. Our methods draw from the principles of the Early Start Denver Model (ESDM), a play-based form of Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) therapy. Key Responsibilities
  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children aged 2-6 in our clinic, adhering to the profession's high standards
  • Implement intervention plans crafted by our expert Masters-level clinicians, ensuring alignment with Applied Behavioral Analysis therapy principles
  • Foster relationships with families, consistently updating them on their child's progress within the ABA framework
  • Engage in ongoing training and development, keeping up-to-date with advancements in ABA therapy and RBT certification
  • Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment (Soar will provide paid training)
    • RBT certification required for CO Springs location
  • Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children
  • Must have reliable transportation to both training location and local center. Punctuality is essential
  • Must be able to meet the following physical requirements: sit and stand frequently, shift positions quickly, lift up to 50 lbs., sit/kneel on the floor for extended periods of time, sit in a chair, stand, walk, and occasionally run short distances to catch up with a client
  • Computer and tablet literacy
  • Ability to work on a team

  • Ability to achieve and maintain RBT certification within first 6 weeks of employment (Soar will provide paid training)
    • RBT certification required for CO Springs location
  • Previous experience with children and enjoyment working with children

What We Offer
  • $21.50 - $28.50/hour with regular bonus and promotion opportunities. The initial offer hourly pay will be between $21.50 - $22.75. All staff members are considered every 3 months for a raise or promotion
