Job summary

Kyo Autism Therapy in Johns Creek seeks a Behavior Therapist to deliver play-based ABA therapy to children with autism, helping them reach meaningful goals at home, at school, and in the community.

You will collect data to track progress, collaborate with caregivers and the clinical team, and participate in paid training. Benefits include medical, vision, dental, life insurance, a 401k, and a career path that can lead to BCBA study funding.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• High school diploma and willingness to obtain and maintain RBT certification or applicable state licensure.
• Part-time availability must include three or four afternoons (3pm–7pm) and two mornings/middays (8am–12pm or 11:30am–3pm), depending on weekly hours.
• Full-time availability is Monday through Friday, 8am–7pm (max 8 hours per day).
• Willingness to travel approximately 45 minutes between work locations and pass DOJ/FBI background check including fingerprinting and TB test.

Pay Range: $20.00 - $24.00
$2000 sign on bonus for RBTs available
$1000 sign on bonus for completed RBT 40 hour certification prior to start date

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Prior experience working with children while demonstrating a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Education: High school diploma and willingness to obtain & maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification or applicable state licensure.
• Availability: Part-time availability must include three or four afternoons (3pm–7pm) and two mornings/middays (8am–12pm or 11:30am–3pm), depending on desired weekly hours (12–15 or 20–25 hours).Full-time availability is Monday through Friday, 8am–7pm (maximum of 8 hours worked per day).
• Availability: Weekday afternoon availability required (3-7pm).
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle with valid in-state driver’s license and insurance. Willingness to travel approximately 45 minutes between work locations, with paid drive time.
• Background Check: Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check including fingerprinting and TB test (if applicable).
• Physical Ability: The job involves extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to communicate clearly and participate in physical and play-based therapies.
