Merakey is seeking a Behavior Technician in Fort Worth, TX to provide 1:1 ABA-based services in family homes, schools, and community settings. The role supports children with developmental disabilities and those on the autism spectrum.
The position offers part-time hours, with pay at $18.50 per hour, and requires a high school diploma or GED and 3–6 months of relevant experience. Prior paraprofessional/behavioral health experience is preferred.
Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:
Minimum of a high school diploma or general educational development (GED) is required.
Availability to work Full Day of 8:15 am - 3:15 pm Monday – Friday
3-6 months of experience working with people with developmental disabilities preferred.
Experience working with children with autism is preferred.

POSITION DETAILS and DUTIES
At Merakey, you can make a change in the life of a child. Using evidence-based treatments (such as Applied Behavior Analysis – ABA) to provide 1:1 direct service in family homes, schools, and community settings. You will get to have fun and let your personality shine while applying individualized treatment.
Review and implement IEP or treatment plan
Complete timely ongoing data collection, including parent/staff correspondence and all required documentation
Provide behavioral interventions and physical interventions as needed. Interventions vary based on program regulations and appropriate training is provided based on same.
Monitor client performance and record relevant data to assess progress.
Accompany and assist clients(s)/student(s) with activities and daily living which may include assisting with toileting and grooming. with toileting and grooming.
Provide behavioral interventions and physical interventions as needed. Physical interventions may range from simple prompting and/or guided transport up to, and including, physical restraint of client. Interventions vary based on program regulations and appropriate training is provided based on same.
