Job summary

Kyo Autism Therapy LLC in California is seeking a compassionate Behavior Therapist to support children with autism through ABA therapy at home, school or community settings.

You will collect data, monitor progress with families and the clinical team, and participate in paid training. The role requires weekday afternoon availability (3-7pm), reliable transportation, and a willingness to travel between locations across LA County.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and willingness to obtain RBT certification or state licensure.
• Experience working with children in a supportive setting.
• Availability weekdays 3-7pm.
• Reliable transportation and willing to travel between locations.
• Clear communication and ability to participate in therapies.
• Background check including DOJ/FBI and TB test.

Pay Range:

All Other Locations: $21.00 - $24.50

• Collect data to track each child’s progress and partner with caregivers and your clinical team to deliver consistent, high-quality support.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Prior experience working with children while demonstrating a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Education: High school diploma and willingness to obtain & maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification or applicable state licensure.
• Availability: Weekday afternoon availability required (3-7pm).
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle with valid in-state driver's license and insurance. Willingness to travel approximately 45 minutes between work locations, with paid drive time.
• Technology Skills: Basic computer skills, including experience using a tablet and ability to navigate various online platforms. Access to a smartphone is a requirement of this position.
• Background Check: Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check including fingerprinting and TB test (if applicable).
• Physical Ability: The job involves extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to communicate clearly and participate in physical and play-based therapies.
