Job summary

Kyo offers ABA therapy across CA, empowering families since 2005. As a Behavior Therapist you will deliver play-based interventions to help children reach meaningful goals at home, school and in the community.

Responsibilities include data collection, collaboration with caregivers and clinical team, and adherence to evidence-based practices. Availability 3-7pm; travel between LA locations may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Education: High school diploma and willingness to obtain & maintain RBT certification or applicable state licensure.
• Availability: Weekday afternoon availability (3-7pm).
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle with in-state license and insurance; travel ~45 minutes between locations with paid drive time.
• Technology: Basic computer skills, including tablet use and online platforms; smartphone required.
• Background: Pass DOJ/FBI background check including fingerprinting and TB test.
• Physical: Able to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel and lift 50 pounds.

Pay Range:

All Other Locations: $21.00 - $24.50

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience: Prior experience working with children while demonstrating a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
• Education: High school diploma and willingness to obtain & maintain Registered Behavior Technician certification or applicable state licensure.
• Availability: Weekday afternoon availability required (3-7pm).
• Transportation: Reliable vehicle with valid in-state driver’s license and insurance. Willingness to travel approximately 45 minutes between work locations, with paid drive time.
• Technology Skills: Basic computer skills, including experience using a tablet and ability to navigate various online platforms. Access to a smartphone is a requirement of this position.
• Background Check: Ability to pass DOJ/FBI background check including fingerprinting and TB test (if applicable).
• Physical Ability: The job involves extensive standing, walking, reaching, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. Ability to communicate clearly and participate in physical and play-based therapies.
