Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking compassionate part-time Behavior Technicians to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder and other developmental disabilities.

You will help kids learn social and communication skills while implementing individualized plans under BCBA supervision. Work is primarily in clients’ homes with some sessions at local schools.

Qualifications

• Passion for working with children with Special Needs.
• Strong communication skills.
• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Minimum of one year relevant experience preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Computer proficiency required.
• Big heart, patience, and the ability to keep up with energetic kiddos!

Responsibilities

Part Time (~15 - 20 Hours) | Salary: $21 - $26/ Per Hour

What You’ll Do:

• Help Kids Learn and Grow: Help children work on social skills, communication skills, and repetitive or restrictive behaviors.
• Always Stay Active: Implement goals and programs in the individualized Behavior Plan designed by our Board-Certified Behavior Analysts.
• Keep Things Organized: Document kiddos’ progress and milestones using a mobile application while following Behavior Plans, objectives, and instruction from the BCBA/Program supervisor.
• Consistent Work Setting: You’ll primarily provide services in client’s homes, with some sessions held in local schools depending on our client’s needs.
• Support Families: Be part of a team that helps families see real progress and hope through providing true behavior support services and crisis intervention.
