Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Behavior Technician in Glen Cove, NY, for a part-time contract role. You will facilitate educational and behavioral services for individuals with special needs and collaborate with school professionals to achieve targeted goals.

The position offers a rate of $24 per hour, with approximately 30 hours weekly. CPR may be required, and candidates must meet applicable federal, state and local requirements, with a focus on providing reliable support in school settings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate educational and behavioral services with children and adults with special needs.
• Collaborate with school professionals and other behavioral specialists to achieve learning and behavioral goals and objectives.
• Support implementation of behavior plans and data collection to track progress.
