Job summary

Benchmark Human Services in Indiana is seeking Behavioral Support Techs to support individuals with IDD and behavioral health needs across home, work, and community settings. Compensation ranges based on years of health-related caregiving experience, with multiple shifts and locations available.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation to and from shifts.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Participate in development and positive implementation of individual plans.
• Provide positive behavioral supports per BSPs and reinforce appropriate behavior.
• Respond to emergencies using Mandt-trained techniques.
• Enter daily behavior data and document observations clearly.
• Implement Meaningful Daily Schedules and provide active treatment.
• Provide transportation to daily activities using a personal vehicle when directed.
• Maintain supervision levels per state requirements; other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the development and positive implementation of of individual's plans.
• Provide positive behavioral supports according to the individual BSPs and provide positive reinforcement when individuals engage in socially appropriate behavior.
• Respond to emergency situations as trained utilizing all aspects of Mandt training.
• Prepare and enter daily behavior data as required by the BC. Document the behavior and the environment in observable and measurable terms.
• Implement Meaningful Daily Schedules and provide continuous active treatment through the ISP, BSP, daily schedules, day programs/work and reinforcement schedules.
• Provide transportation to individuals for daily activities utilizing personal vehicle as directed.
• Maintain levels of supervision per state requirements and as indicated in the BSP's for safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
