Job summary

The BSP provides interventions addressing symptoms, behaviors, and emotional well-being to help individuals eliminate barriers to independence in personal, educational, and occupational contexts. A High School Diploma with 3+ years of relevant experience is required; a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field is preferred. A valid driver’s license and transportation are required.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma with 3+ years of experience in mental health.
  • Experience in mental health and working with youth and families.
  • Ability to maintain a flexible work schedule including evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to transportation to work.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health services to clients and caregivers in the home or community using therapeutic approaches per the client’s service plan.
  • Deliver mental health interventions addressing symptoms, behaviors, and emotional well-being to support independence in personal, educational, and occupational environments.

Cadence Care Network has an immediate opening for a Behavior Support Provider (BSP) to join our foster care team. This position will provide mental health services to clients and caregivers in the home or community using a variety of therapeutic approaches as determined in the client's individualized service plan. The BSP will provide mental health interventions that address symptoms, behaviors, and emotional well-being to assist an individual in eliminating barriers to seeking or maintaining independence in personal, educational, and occupational environments.

Qualifications
  • minimum of High School Diploma plus 3 years' experience. Bachelor's degree in social work or closely related field preferred.
  • Experience in mental health and working with youth and families.
  • ability to maintain a flexible work schedule that meets the needs of clients served, i.e. nontraditional schedule that may include evenings and weekends.
  • Valid driver's license, insurance, and the ability to use your car for work, or have access to transportation to work.
