Job summary

Community Options, Inc. in Pittsburgh, PA is seeking a Behavior Support Manager to apply best practices in a community setting. You will support individuals in acquiring social and communication skills, supervise staff, and participate on the clinical team.

Starting pay is $70,000 per year, with competitive benefits for a full-time role. The ideal candidate is a BCBA or eligible, with strong relationship skills and the ability to maintain composure in crisis situations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s level BCBA or candidate sitting for the exam within 6 months.
  • Ability to build supportive relationships with individuals and families.
  • Good judgment and calmness in crisis situations.
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
  • Background checks including criminal, central registry, and drug testing.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavioral support interventions based on individual needs.
  • Provide ABA – FBA and develop a Behavioral Support Plan.
  • Supervise RBT/Behavior Support Specialist staff.
  • Implement the individualized Behavior Support Plan and Positive Behavioral Supports.
  • Coordinate with program staff and participate in the clinical team.
