Job summary

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit serving individuals with disabilities in 11 states. We seek a Behavior Support Manager in Butler, PA to apply ABA practices and help individuals acquire and generalize essential skills to improve independence and functioning.

This role be overseeing Butler, Indiana, and Washington regions. Starting pay is $70,000 per year. The manager will supervise staff, implement Behavior Support Plans, provide Positive Behavioral Support, and collaborate with

Qualifications

  • Master’s level BCBA or pursuing BCBA within 6 months.
  • Ability to establish a supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports.
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
  • Criminal background/central registry checks and drug testing required.
  • Ability to stay calm and exercise good judgment in crises.

Responsibilities

  • Implement behavioral support interventions based on individual needs and assessment.
  • Provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) – FBA and development of a Behavioral Support Plan.
  • Supervise RBT/Behavior Support Specialist staff as needed.
  • Implement the individualized Behavior Support Plan.
  • Provide Positive Behavioral Supports.
  • Coordinate with program staff and participate as part of the clinical team.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned.
  • Cooperate with license and department staff during inspections or inquiries.

Education

Community Options, Inc. is a national non-profit agency providing services to individuals with disabilities in 11 states.

We are now seeking a Behavior Support Manager in Butler, PA. The Behavior Support Manager uses best practices and technologies within a community setting to assist individuals with acquiring, retaining, improving and generalizing the behavioral, self-help, socialization, relational, and communication skills needed to enhance relationships, and increase independence and functioning. This role be overseeing Butler, Indiana, and Washington regions.

Starting pay is $70,000/ per year

Responsibilities
  • Implement behavioral support interventions and activities based on individual needs and ongoing assessment; frequency and duration may decrease or vary throughout the stay
  • Provide Applied Behavioral Analysis (ABA) – Functional Behavioral Assessment and development of a Behavioral Support Plan
  • Supervise RBT/Behavior Support Specialist staff as needed
  • Implement the individualized Behavior Support Plan
  • Provide Positive Behavioral Supports
  • Provide coordinated support with program staff and participate as part of the clinical team
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned
  • Employee must cooperate with the license and department staff in any inspection, inquiry, or investigation
Minimum Requirements
  • Master’s level Board Certified Behavioral Analyst or sitting for the exam within 6 months
  • Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with individuals receiving supports
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and remain calm in crisis situations
  • Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record
  • Ability to establish a comfortable and supportive relationship with the youth and their families
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of checks of criminal background, central registry, child abuse registry, and drug testing
