Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis in psychology, social work or special education; pursuing Masters' degree.
• Minimum three years of experience in special education and working with at-risk students.
• Demonstrated understanding of needs of children with disabilities, their parents, and staff.
• Must be able to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Behavioral Services aligned with student goals.
• Respond to crisis situations using conflict resolution and crisis management techniques.
• Create a safe, effective learning environment in the school.
• Coordinate with families, schools, and agencies for student support.
• Attend IEP, CSE, and CPSE meetings as appropriate.
• Collaborate with Psychology/Behavioral and Social Work staff on student evaluations and interventions.
• Provide staff development in behavioral service delivery.
