Job summary

Jobtailor seeks a dedicated caregiver/support specialist to help children build essential communication, social, and life skills through play-based approaches across home, school, and community settings.

You will follow individualized plans created by clinical leaders, working closely with families and educators to monitor progress and celebrate milestones. This role requires energy, compassion, and reliability in dynamic environments.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Flexible availability, especially Monday-Friday afternoons/evenings and Saturdays.
  • Proof of MMR, Varicella, and COVID vaccinations as mandated in California.
  • Reliable transportation.
  • Comfort working with diverse populations.
  • Willingness to complete training and documentation.
  • Ability to frequently sit and stand and keep pace with the client.
  • Patient, dependable, and compassionate.
  • Clear communication and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to thrive in structured, school-based environments.
