Job description

CCTC is seeking a Licensed Behavioral Consultant with Applied Behavioral Analysis experience that will provide specific expertise in behavioral management for children identified to need stabilization or ongoing treatment of behavioral issues or provide expertise in working towards skill acquisition goals to address deficits in communication or skills of daily living. The Behavioral Consultant (BC) is an integral participant of the treatment team, design and directs the implementation of behavior modification intervention plans and/or skill acquisition plans which are individualized to each child/adolescent and to family needs. Subcontracted agreements will be developed with a pool of mental health professionals to provide behavioral specialist consultation services. The nature of the agreement is outlined in a standard consultation contract. This contract stipulates our expectation for service delivery and documentation.

Qualifications:

  1. Board Certification in Behavior Analysis (BCBA) preferred, or license (PA) as a Behavior Specialist, Professional Counselor, Marriage and Family Therapy, Social Work, or Certified Nurse Practitioner.
  2. Master's degree in Psychology, Clinical Social Work, Counseling, Special Education, Behavior Analysis, or related field.
  3. Training to include a minimum of 8 hours in behavior analysis/modification prior to hire.
  4. Occupational Therapy, Speech, or related field with documented training in behavior modification is required.
  5. BCBA or those licensed and working towards BCBA preferred.
  6. Minimum of 1 year full-time experience providing ABA services and 12 credits in ABA from an accredited university.
  7. State FBA training completion certificate and experience completing FBA’s, VB-MAPP, AFLS preferred.
