Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support elementary and middle school students in a special education setting. You will implement interventions, reinforce positive behaviors, and model strategies for staff under supervision of qualified personnel.

Responsibilities include data collection, progress monitoring, and collaboration with teachers to improve student outcomes through evidence-based ABA methods.

Qualifications

  • Document incidents, follow safety protocols, and participate in meetings and PD.

Role

  • Documenting incidents, adhering to safety protocols, and participating in team meetings and professional development.
Qualifications
  • Associate’s degree or higher in a related field.
  • Current or in-progress paraprofessional or teaching-related license; RBT preferred.
  • Experience supporting children with learning disabilities, autism, or behavioral disorders.
  • Knowledge of ABA, FBA, BIP, and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with technology and data management.
