Job summary

Live Well Homecare is seeking a Behavior Specialist to support elementary and middle school students in a Special Education setting. You will implement individual and system-wide behavioral plans and work with staff to promote positive student outcomes.

Responsibilities include data collection, crisis de-escalation, and collaboration with IEP teams to guide classroom staff on behavior management. Experience with ABA principles and crisis intervention is required.

Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field.
  • Certification in paraprofessional or teaching-related area; RBT preferred.
  • Experience with children with learning disabilities, autism, or behavioral disorders.
  • Knowledge of ABA, FBA, BIP, PBIS, and crisis intervention techniques.
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data management tools.

  • Complete documentation, adhere to safety protocols, and participate in team meetings and professional development.
  • Support classroom activities, supervision during school events, and perform additional duties as assigned.
