Job summary

Ability Matters is hiring a Paraprofessional – Student Support in Columbus, OH. This role provides 1:1 or small group instructional help to students working toward IEP goals and builds behavioral, academic, social, and life skills in classroom and real-world settings.

You will track progress, collaborate with teachers, families, and staff, and serve as a positive role model to help students feel safe, engaged, and included. Flexible full-time or part-time opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Provide 1:1 or small group instructional support to help students achieve their IEP goals.
• Help build behavioral, academic, social, and life skills.
• Track student progress, behavior, and goals to support individualized instruction.
• Partner with teachers, families, and staff for consistent, student-centered support.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
