Job summary

Lufkin ISD 122 Brookhollow Elementary is seeking an instructional aide to support the behavioral intervention plan and maintain a highly structured campus. You will work under the supervision of the principal, assistant principal, and counselor to assist with classroom activities and student management.

Responsibilities include collaborating with teachers, maintaining files, supervising students, and assisting with restorative practices.

Qualifications

• Education/certification requirements per job posting.
• Ability to work with children and follow instructions.
• Proficiency with basic computer use and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Work with campus staff to create and maintain an orderly, structured campus environment.
• Work with individual students to complete assignments and consult teachers.
• Maintain files of completed assignments and return to teachers.
• Manage student behavior and record attendance and referrals.
• Support administration with restorative practices and goal setting.
• Supervise students and support academic, social-emotional, and behavioral needs.
